Monica S. Digilio
FOUNDER & CEO
Monica S. Digilio has over 25 years of C-Suite and board experience in public and privately held hospitality, gaming, entertainment and real estate development companies worldwide. As Founder and CEO of Compass Advisors LLC, Monica focuses on providing strategic advisory support to senior level executives, private equity investors and boards of directors in the areas of human capital strategy and management, business leadership, talent development and organizational planning.
Prior to establishing Compass Advisors, Ms. Digilio was the Chief Human Resources Officer for Caesars Entertainment Corporation, a Fortune 500 global gaming, hospitality and entertainment company. She led the human resources and corporate social responsibility (CSR) functions, and supported a global workforce of 65,000 team members. Prior to her tenure at Caesars, she played a key role in the expansion of Montage International’s portfolio of branded hotels and resorts, and helped to launch the Pendry luxury lifestyle brand as the Chief Human Resources Officer for six years.
Ms. Digilio also spent 12 years as the Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources & Administration for Kerzner International, parent company of the Atlantis and One&Only integrated resorts and luxury hotel brands, and 10 years in leadership positions with ITT Sheraton Corporation/ Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Ms. Digilio is a member of the Board of Directors of Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc. (NYSE:SHO), a public real estate investment trust (REIT) in the hospitality and lodging sector. She also serves as an advisory Board Member for Cornell University’s Leland C. and Mary M. Pillsbury Institute for Hospitality Entrepreneurship. She is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and the Women Corporate Directors Foundation (WCD), where she serves on the Compensation and Human Capital Committee Peer Group.
Ms. Digilio holds both a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY.
